It’s been 56 years since I filmed my first movie when I was six, and I’ve worked on over 200 films to date. I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to the Oscars for giving me this award of encouragement and recognizing my achievements while I’m still “young”. I’m absolutely honored to be the first Chinese in history to receive this award.

The JC Stunt Team has always had a motto: We don’t ask why, we just do or die. This was one of our fundamental principles, and also a kind of passionate attitude that we, as action movie stars, kept at heart. To be honest, making an action movie isn’t easy. It’s normal for us to get hurt and bleed. Many of us have sustained a body full of injuries and I’m no exception to the case. That’s why I’d like to share this honor with my brothers of the JC Stunt Team who have been with me through good times and bad times over the many years, and I’d like to share this award with every action movie star from all over the world!

I’d like to say thank you to my family; thank you to every outstanding, talented and professional person I’ve worked with on the movie set; and thank you to all the business partners who have continuously supported me. I’ve actually set myself a “little goal” and hope that this honorary golden statue won’t be my last one. I don’t think the Oscars have a rule where you can’t win another golden statue after receiving an honorary award, right?

I’d also like to take this opportunity to say a big heartfelt thank you to all my fans who have endlessly given me so much support. You’re the reason why I’m motivated to keep moving forward. Thank you!

從6歲開始拍電影，到今年已經56年，作品超過200部，很感謝奧斯卡在我還打得動的時候，給了我這樣一個鼓勵，也非常榮幸成為第一次獲得這個榮譽的華人。

很多年前成家班就經常說一句話，We don’t ask why, we just do or die.這是我們的信條，也是所有動作電影人的態度。拍動作電影很辛苦，受傷流血是常事，很多人都落了一身傷病，我自己也不例外。所以，奧斯卡這份榮譽，我要把它要与几十年來与我共同出生入死的成家班兄弟，与全世界的動作電影人一起分享！

感謝我的家人，感謝多年來所有优秀又敬業的戲中搭檔，還有所有支持我的合作伙伴。而且，我還有個“小目標”，那就是希望這座小金人不是我的最后一座，奧斯卡應該沒規定拿完終身成就獎就不能再拿別的獎了吧！

最后，感謝全世界一直支持我的影迷們，你們是我繼續前進的動力！

Since the completion of the monument in 1973, this is the first time in history that anyone has been allowed to film on top of the Sydney Opera House. Initially, we wanted to keep a low profile with the location, but news still managed to leak out to the media. Don’t you think the Opera House looks beautiful?

The Shanghai International Film Festival Jackie Chan Action Movie Week officially ended last week. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came in support of the event. Initially, I had planned to attend the after party but in the end I couldn’t make it because I had to rush to the airport and fly to France.

This time, I’m in France for the 24 hours of Le Mans Endurance Race, supporting our Chinese racing team! I was very happy to see so many enthusiastic fans here. I also became the Le Mans Cultural Ambassador.

The “Sparkle Roll Group – Jackie Chan DC Racing Team” is the first Chinese racing team in history to compete in the Le Mans Championship. Yesterday, our team won the first round race. When I went on stage to present the award and heard them play the Chinese National Anthem, I honestly felt very proud and was filled with emotions.

Despite the weather, the event was a great success. But unfortunately for us, our racing car #35, which was in third place this morning (France time), had to withdraw from the race because of technical difficulties. Of course I felt disappointed but for my team, it’s just the beginning. I will continue to support my racing team! The most important thing to keep in mind is team spirit!

了勝利，我頒獎的時候聽到現場奏國歌，真的是很驕傲很激動！比賽完滿結束了,
只可惜我們的35號車因技術故障，(法國時間) 今天早晨在小
組排名第三的時間退賽了，雖然很遺憾，但對於我們車隊來說，只是剛開始，我會
繼續支持他們，最重要是體育精神！

Special Surprise

Yesterday, I was in Beijing for the Skiptrace Press Conference and was given a very pleasant surprise. During the event, the MC told me to close my eyes. I thought to myself, “It must be a cake, or chocolate, or flowers.” I was so shocked and ecstatic to see my good brother, Yuen Biao, appear in front of my eyes. He flew all the way from Canada just to be here for the event. I’ve known him since we were very young, training at the Peking Opera School together like brothers, and we’ve been close friends for over 50 years already.

After the event, we had dinner and talked about all the great times we had together. He even sang “Ming Ming Bai Bai Wo De Xin” (明明白白我的心) to me. We had so much fun. It was a day filled with happy memories.

Not too long ago, the publisher in Japan named the Japanese version of my book as 《Youngster Forever》. I like this a lot. Growing old with age and seeing friends gradually leaving, the feeling of sadness in my heart is unavoidable. But today is my birthday and I received a message from my friend, a quote from Su Shi (a famous Chinese poet also known as Su Dongpo): “Old man lets loose some youthful wildness, left hand leading a yellow dog, right hand holding a grey eagle. Wine helps broaden bravery, my hair a little frosted on the temples, what harm could that be.” I suddenly felt as though I’m at this stage in life, or should I say that I still feel like a reckless youngster. I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all my friends and fans for all your birthday wishes. May we all be forever young!

前段时间日本出版社把我的书定名为《永远的少年》，我很喜欢。随着年纪增长，经历朋友离开，难免让人心中伤感，但是今天生日之时，我收到朋友发来的一句苏轼的词：老夫聊发少年狂，左牵黄，右擎苍。酒酣胸胆尚开张，鬓微霜，又何妨。我忽然觉得，越是在人生这个阶段，越应该活得像个恣意少年。感谢影迷和朋友们的生日祝福，愿我们都是永远的少年。
