Hi everybody! Yesterday, I got on a 3am flight from India to Beijing. I didn’t get a chance to sleep and even had to clean my house when I got home. Today, everybody called to congratulate me on my rumored engagement. Afterward, everybody called me to see if I was alive.

If I died, I would probably tell the world! I took a photo with today’s date, just in case you don’t believe me! However, thank you all for your concern. Kiss kiss and love you all!

P.S. My dog is healthy, just like me! He doesn’t need surgery! By the way, my dogs are golden retrievers, not Labradors.

After New York, I went to Toronto and attended the Toronto Film Festival. Straight after attending an event there, I quickly rushed back to Beijing. But my schedule was so busy. I only spent less than half a day in Beijing and then I had to catch a six hour flight to New Delhi, India. By the time I arrived in India, it was already past 2:00am.

This time I was in India to attend the Chinese Film Festival. The last time I was here, I think was almost 10 years ago when I filmed The Myth. Unfortunately, because my schedule is so tight, I only stayed in India for one and a half days. I honestly have to say, the enthusiasm of my fans here is great! Apart from doing interviews with the media, organizers here suggested that I sing Country during the event. At that moment in time, I thought to myself, does the Indian audience understand what I sing? After singing the song, I truly believe that music has no borders because everyone in the audience clapped to the beat of the music.

After attending the official event, I made most of the time I had in India and visited a local charitable organization that specializes in helping women and children. I saw so many innocent faces and they all performed for me, dancing and singing songs. I kept asking my friends, how can I help them? I want to do my best to help these people.

At 3:00am, I had to board the plane again and take a 6 hour flight back to Beijing.

My schedule in New York these few days has been extremely tight and busy. Very early yesterday morning, I attended the HKETO (Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office) 30th Anniversary Press Conference. I had non-stop interviews, one after another. Afterwards, I had a chat with some of my fans who were also at the event. I was so surprised after talking to them. Why? First, over 90% of the audience were foreigners and not only were they very familiar with a movie I directed and starred in, Drunken Master II, they also had a great understanding of my other movies as well. If I wasn’t in a rush to attend another event, the Hong Kong Gala Dinner for HKETO, I really wanted to watch Drunken Master II again and relive the classic moments with my fans.

Last night, I was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award presented to me by the New York Asian Film Festival! Many guests attended the event as well, including current Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, Leung Chun-Ying, and a group of other officials. I was so excited when I accepted the award because it’s like my 53 years dedicated to the film industry has been recognized by everyone. I felt very happy. Furthermore, I also found out that I am one of the youngest recipients of this award! Unfortunately, it has been raining all day in New York today, and a lot of fans couldn’t buy tickets to attend the event and watch my movie, CZ12 (Chinese Zodiac). But, a lot of fans still stood in the rain just to wait and see me! I am so moved! Thank you all!!
