Although I have been away much of the last year filming in America and now in China, I still take responsiblity for my dogs and make sure they are well cared for. My staff sees that they are well fed and get plenty of exercise, and when I was in America I bought lots of toys that will stimulate them and allow them to play and have fun. I also built them a comfortable and secure enclosure behind the house so they have a nice place to rest and so they will be protected when it rains.

Recently the weather in Hong Kong has turned very hot, and I arranged for Jones and JJ to have short haircuts so they will be cool and comfortable for the summer. Here are some photos I want to share with you. I hope you enjoy them!

I took this photo in August, 2006. They liked to lay the same way when they were puppies.

It doesn't matter if there are a dozen toys - they will always want the same one.

Jonesie is smart to hide in the shade. Hong Kong is very hot this time of year.

I think my dogs are very comfortable with their new haircuts. Their fur will grow back in plenty of time for the cool weather.
