3PM-4:30pm/ Round Table Press Conference at the Crillon Hotel (For Paris Cinema and ¡§New Police Story¡¨)
Willie's Notes: Only one and a half hours was scheduled but it ran overtime and did not finish until a quarter past five. All the Press present obviously were old friends who knew Jackie's work very well. Questions asked covered films as early as Snake in Eagles Shadow, Drunken Master 1 to Jackie's early costars as Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao and even Mars (now how many of you really remember Mars, one of the earliest members in Jackie's martial arts team?). Still, the main emphasis was on New Police Story which is due for release on the 13th of this month. To the French, they consider New Police Story as the return of Jackie to the original , MADE-IN-HONG KONG movies, which they love and find refreshing after so many MADE-IN-HOLLYWOOD movies.
6pm-6:30pm/ NHK Japan interview at the Hotel Crillon.
Willie's notes: This interview with the NHK Japanese T.V. station is actually not part of the official program. Rather, it is a special favor for good friend Korean actor Lee Byung-Heon who is enjoying rising stardom in Japan! Well, Jackie is Jackie, anything for a friend!
8:30pm/ Opening of Jackie Chan's tribute at Cinema Max Linder with the premiere of New Police Story. Talk show with the audience before the screening (Duration:1/2 hour). David Martinex and interpreter Isabelle Glachant on stage with Jackie.

Willie Notes: Jackie told me in the car that he was really touched by the French audience. He told me confidentially that to be so well received in a foreign country which he seldom visits really overwhelms him! He is deeply touched!
9:30pm/ A smart but now formal dinner in honour of Ms Jeanne Moreau will take place at the Flora Danica restaurant (Champs Elysees). One hundred personalities (actors, directors, officials¡K¡K) are expected. We will be pleased if Jackie would like to join this dinner.
Willie's Notes: Of course Jackie will go to pay respects to this French veteran actress, who the French consider as A treasure of the movies for 35 years!
