Recording Theme Song for Big Little Soldier

If you think that Jackie Chan might slow down for even one day, you'd be wrong. On November 25th, Jackie was in the studio recording the theme song for Big Little Soldier, which premieres on Chinese New Year, 2010. Accompanying him in song was Lin Peng, his Big Little Soldier co-star. As well as being a gifted actress, Lin Peng is also a very good singer. You may recall that Jackie spotted Lin Peng during rehearsals for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Lin Peng was the woman who played the part of the teacher guiding the children to paint a canvas during the Olympic ceremonies. Jackie immediately felt that she had tremendous talent and potential and signed her on as his Big Little Soldier co-star.

Here is some video from the recording studio. Among other things, Jackie talks about the weather in Hong Kong and Beijing. Although he says that it has been cold in Hong Kong, it's also been chilly in Beijing. Several days ago, reporters caught sight of Jackie shivering and blowing on his hands to warm them while making his way from his car to a restaurant, clothed only in a thin jacket.
