Beijing Olympics First Anniversary Concert

On the evening of August 6th, Jackie participated in the Beijing Olympic Games First Anniversary Concert at the open air theater in Beijing's Olympic Park. Jackie, along with Sandy Lam, sang "Like a Dream," a song written to commemorate the first anniversary of the Olympic games in Beijing, China. There were dozens of performances by some of China's brightest stars, as well as appearances by hundreds of children, and a touching tribute to the hard work of the Olympic volunteers, which brought tears to the eyes of many in the audience.

Jackie, who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the the Olympic Games, has participated in dozens of events over the past several years to promote the Olympics. All of his hard work has been done on a volunteer basis and he's not taken any fees. In a statement given before the anniversary concert, Jackie said that the Olympic Games have helped him to feel closer to his own country and to understand the rest of the world better.
