Jackie performs at the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing.

On May 1st, Jackie hosted a gala concert in Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium, marking the first large scale event to be held there since the Olympic Games this past summer. The "Descendants of the Dragon: Jackie Chan and Friends" concert started at 7 pm and lasted two and a half hours. Over 70,000 people enjoyed performances by some of Asia's most popular singers including Jonathan Lee, Emil Chau, Alan Tam, Joey Yung, Hacken Lee, Rain, and Super Junior.

Jackie opened the concert with a display of his drumming skills, to the delight of the audience. The Disciple's "Seven New Little Fortunes" were on hand to perform as well.

Security was tight at the stadium with nearly 1,000 guards stationed around the site.

On May 3rd, Jackie was back in Hong Kong to help celebrate the 60th Anniversary of The People's Republic of China and participate in a Youth Cultural Carnival.

Immediately following the events Jackie rushed to the airport to return to China.
