Believe in Love Charity Event

On December 17, Jackie hosted the "Believe in Love" charity event in Beijing. The show, which was co-sponsored by CCTV and the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Beijing, raised US $2.3 million dollars to help sick children.

Jackie welcomed a special guest - a six-year-old girl from Tsing Hai - who was born with a defective heart and after receiving medical treatment is now healthy.

Jackie auctioned off a scarf which he designed and which was signed by both Jackie and Will Smith. The scarf raised US $157,000.

Jackie also donated a hunting chair which was auctioned for US $315,000. Jackie matched the price with $315,000 of his own money, raising the amount collected to $600,000!
