Shanghai

On our way to Shanghai, our flight was delayed. So we decided to sit down to play Uno. It is such a fun game to play to pass time in the airport without gambling. Everybody can play because the rules are very simple. We always have a good time when we play Uno.


As soon as I arrived, I immediately had a meeting with my team about the Jackie Chan museum in Shanghai. Actually I might call it an exhibition center. I haven't decided on a name yet, but I hope by the time we finish this year during the Shanghai Expo, I will know what to call it. Then I will be happy to introduce it to everybody!


The next morning we went to a tea shop for an interview for Little Big Soldier. The tea shop was so interesting because some of the teas were over 100 years old! It was also very expensive. I don't know why, but when you get older, you like old things like antique cars and antique tea.


Chinese New Year Festival Shows

That afternoon, I met up with a very famous comedian named Zhou Libo. He is so funny and quick witted. We had to tape a Chinese New Year Festival show the next day so we needed some time to prepare.


The next day was the taping for the Chinese New Year Festival show. We had a big celebration! For the whole day, we had endless meetings and rehearsals. During rehearsal, I taught my Lucky 7 the tai chi moves for the show. It was a very successful and funny taping!


When we flew back to Beijing, I immediately had a rehearsal for the Beijing Chinese New Year Festival show. China is very big country, just like America, so you have to go to different cities to do many local shows.


I invited all the martial arts students to come perform with me. They're very young and very good. It was the first time Victoria saw something like this. When she is with me, she is always surprised by everything that she sees because she doesn't get to experience this in America. She always says to me, "Only in China!" I am happy to be able to show her our beautiful country. Every time I see those kids it reminds me of when I was young.

Little Big Soldier Premiere Performance

The next day was a very big day for me – It was the premiere performance of Little Big Soldier. Earlier in the day, I went to see my fans who came from all over China to see me. I was happy to see them because some of them took the train for 13 hours from different cities just to see me. I only had time to take pictures with them; next time I will try to save time and sign autographs and personally meet them! The premiere was at the NBA Olympic stadium. During the rehearsal, I was thinking about a lot of things. I am very proud of this movie, I hope you will like it too.


In between rehearsals, I went to the Jackie Chan International Movie Theatre right next to the NBA Stadium. Sometime this year, the biggest theater in China will open and everyone is welcomed to come visit the Jackie Chan International Movie Theater! There are 17 different theaters in the complex – with IMAX, 3D, etc. There are a lot of items from my previous movies in the theater and I hope to put more in the future.



Before the show started, a bank that was sponsoring the premiere performance used some of my props from Little Big Soldier to auction off and raise money for Haiti.

Finally, the show started. So many of my good friends showed up to perform. The audience was full of all of my good friends who flew in from different countries. It was a night that went very smoothly. I hope to show the audience around the world that Little Big Soldier is a very good movie.




Dragon's Heart

The next day, I went to the Great Hall of the People for the Dragon's Heart opening and presentation ceremony. I brought 2,000 book bags with me for the children who go to some of my schools. They gave me many presents like drawings of them, the school and me. But honestly, the biggest present they can give me is a report card with straight As. I will do what I can to help them have a chance at good education by providing book bags, clothes, heaters in the schools, etc. I am always so happy to see the children.


Save the Tigers

Remember I told you about Ms. Chen Lihua? She is always so good to me and donated her Zitan Musem for me and helped WildAid China to have a press conference to save the tigers. I immediately put it on Twitter and many people asked me how they can help. If you stop buying tiger products, they will stop killing the tigers. I used to think that medicine with tiger bones would heal you, but I was just contributing to them killing more tigers! Tiger skin, tiger medicine, tiger bone - we don't need it.  Here is a speech that Steve Trent made, that I want to share with you:


Distinguished guests, friends and colleagues, it is a great honor and pleasure to be here in Beijing, sharing this platform with one of the world’s best known, best liked international film stars. Asia’s leading action hero, Jackie Chan, and his proteges the New Lucky Seven to launch his new PSA calling for greater, renewed efforts to protect the tiger, keeping it where it belongs, in the wild. I am also very proud and grateful to be sharing this platform with Mr Su Ming (Deputy Director General of International Forestry Cooperation Center) and Mr Hu Yuanhui (Director of Multilateral Programme Division of the center) from the Chinese State Forest Administration.  The China is a world leader and I believe China can and will lead the world in tiger conservation.

Why is this campaign and the support it has won so important? Simple, the tiger is in big trouble: year on year poaching and illegal trade in its parts and products, along with loss of habitat in the wild so that today fewer than 4,000 probably still survive in increasingly isolated and fragmented wild populations, down from over 100,000 at the beginning of the 20th century - far fewer than are now held in captivity.

Already in the last Century, 3 of the 8 subspecies of tiger have been made extinct - the Bali, Caspian and Javan tigers, now gone for good. Put simply and clearly - if we are to prevent the remaining five subspecies of tiger from disappearing in the wild we must act now to prevent this. We must stop all trade in tiger products, improve enforcement operations, support the protection of forest habitats for tigers, ensure they have the prey species they need and most of all, work together for a common cause to ensure this most magnificent of animals, one of the jewels of our natural world is not lost to us forever.

We must ask ourselves: if we cannot save the tiger what can we save? It has been estimated that around 27,000 species are made extinct each year - many even before science has been able to fully document or even name them. That is 74 every day and 3 each hour. Before we all leave today it is likely that at least another three wildlife species will ahve been lost from our planet forever.

Many of the species are under threat, like the tiger have few, if any, natural predators - except human beings. But, with the advancement of human technology across the world, our mounting populations and increasing demand for luxuries, humanity has collectively become a super-predator, making unsustainable demand son our planet and its wildlife, such that we are now undermining the very natural ecosystems which support us and which we all ultimately depend upon.

To address this problem of our growing unsustainable demand we have to act collectively, across national boundaries, working together for a common cause. Governments alongside businesses, alongside organizations. Together we can protect our wildlife heritage. But we can also act individuals - across the world many of us and especially those who live in cities have a direct opportunity to help endangered wildlife species such as the tiger protecting them in the wild where they belong and play such an important role in maintaining the natural systems of our planet. By simple not consuming their parts and products and making our support for wildlife and the natural world known, we can directly influence the unsustainable trade in these animals that is reducing their numbers so rapidly. These individual actions are critically important and we each have a role and responsibility to act now before it is too late.

In working together to stop the illegal and unsustainable trade in wildlife we must remember the role of the market place. If the demand for endangered wildlife products continues as it is today, the illegal trade will continue to flourish. But, if everyone refuses illegal or unsustainable wildlife products, the market will shrink, poaching will decline and we all will have made a contribution to conservation, so please remember: "when the buying stops, the killing can too."

Lastly I again applaud and give my fullest support to the work of the Chinese government for their leadership and success in maintaining the ban on tiger trade and give my profound thanks to Jackie Chan and the New Lucky Seven for their support and leadership. Such leadership is important not just to China but to the entire world.

To all of you here and to the entire Chinese nation I wish you a happy new year filled with success and happiness. May you all be tigers in the new year of the tiger.

上海:

今天我们搭机去上海，可是到达机场后，发现航班被推迟。因此，我们一起坐下来玩UNO。这个游戏真好玩，既可以在机场消耗时间，也可以不赌钱而玩个痛快。游戏规则非常简单，人人都可以玩。每次玩UNO都会玩得很开心。

到达上海后，马上赶去跟工作人员开会，商讨我在上海设立的成龙博物馆的事宜。我曾经想过改为展览中心。其实，改什么名字我还未决定，希望完成之后，大约今年上海世界博览会开始的时候，我会知道改什么名字。到时，我会很乐意介绍给大家!

第二天早上，我们去了一间茶店,为《大兵小将》做访问。这间茶店非常有趣，因为这里有些百多年的茶叶! 而且很昂贵。不知道为什么，我觉得人越老越喜欢古老东西，如古董车和古老茶等等。

 

《欢乐世博年2010群星新春大联欢》:

到了下午，我与著名喜剧演员周立波会面。他头脑转得很快，也非常搅笑。由于明天要录制《欢乐世博年2010群星新春大联欢》的电视台节目，所以我们今天会面做好准备。

明天要录制《欢乐世博年2010群星新春大联欢》的晚会节目，大家一起大庆祝! 整整一天，我开了无数会议，还有不断地彩排。为春晚会彩排的时候，我教新七小福怎样打太极。录制春晚会过程非常成功和很有趣!

当我们飞回北京之后，就马不停蹄为北京电视台春节联欢晚会彩排。中国就像美国一样，是一个非常大的国家，所以要去很多地方出席当地的节目晚会。

我特别邀请一班武术队，跟我一起上台表演。他们很年青，表演武术也非常精彩。Victoria是第一次看见这样的表演。她跟着我工作以来，总是被周围发生的事情感到惊讶，因为他在美国没机会看到这些。她时时跟我说“只有在中国才看到!”能够样她看看我们美丽的中国，我很高兴。每次看到武术队这样的小孩，令我想起童年的回忆。

 

《大兵小将》首映礼:

第二天，对我来说是一个很重要的日子，因为是《大兵小将》的首映礼。那天早上，我跟一些来自全国各地的影迷朋友会面。见到他们真是很感动，因为我知道影迷当中，有些从不同的城市，乘搭十三个小时火车，专程来见我。由于时间紧逼，我只能与他们影照片。下次，我一定会抽出更多时间，亲自认识每一位朋友和为他们签名! 这次的首映礼在北京五棵松体育馆举办。彩排的时候，我心里想著很多事情。这部电影真是令我感到自豪，希望大家也会喜欢!

彩排首映礼期间，我去了体育馆旁边的成龙国际影城瞧瞧。今年之内，全国最大的戏院即将开业了，到时也会欢迎大家来参观我的成龙国际影城! 这个影城拥有17个放映厅 - 包括IMAX及3D等等。影城里摆设了很多以前用过的电影道具，希望将来可以摆设更多。

播映电影之前，赞助首映礼的银行公司，为帮海地灾民筹款，拍卖一些《大兵小将》的道具。

最后，首映礼终于开始了。很多好友都来表演，支持我。观众里也看见很多来自世界各地的好朋友。今晚的活动非常成功。我希望世界各地的观众可以看到这部电影，因为我想大家知道，《大兵小将》很好看。

 

龙子心活动:

第二天，我去北京人民大会堂参加龙子心工程之爱心捐赠仪式。我带了2,000个书包送给龙子心的学生们。他们也送了很多图画和礼物给我。其实坦白说，如果他们想送礼物给我，最大礼物就是读书得到好成绩，这是我最想看到的。我跟他们说，我会把书包及衣服送给他们，在龙子心学校安装暖气机，尽我能力样他们有一个机会好好读书 。见到龙子心的孩子们总会令我感到很高兴。

 

保护老虎:

大家还记得我之前的日记提及陈丽华大姐吗? 她对我非常好，不但捐赠她的紫檀博物馆给我，她也帮助中国野生救援协会(Wildaid)举办“龙腾虎跃，爱心护天下”保护老虎新闻发布会。我立即写上Twitter，之后有很多人在问我，怎样可以帮忙呢? 我跟大家说，如果你停止购买老虎之类的产品，他们会停止残杀老虎。以前，我也以为用老虎骨煮药可以治病，但事实上，我只是样他们杀更多老虎! 老虎皮，老虎药，老虎骨 - 我们通通不需要。今年是虎年，大家一起保护老虎! 请到这里看: www.wildaidchina.org

美国野生救援协会(WildAid)主席，史蒂夫先生(Steve Trent)的演讲:

 

各位嘉宾，朋友和同事，我感到非常荣幸和高兴，可以来到北京与世界著名和最受欢迎的国际巨星，动作英雄成龙先生，率领弟子新七小福，共同启动老虎保护公益广告，呼唤大家继续保护老虎，样它在属于自己的野生地方生存。我也很感谢中国国家林业局的苏明先生(国家林业局对外合作项目中心副主任)和胡元辉先生(国家林业局对外合作中心多边项目处长)。中国是世界领导者，而我也相信中国可以并会成为保护老虎运动的领导者。

为什么这次项运动这么重要? 答案很简单，老虎正是危在旦夕。年复一年，偷猎和非法交易虎制品，再加上野生活的环境被破坏，导致今天全世界仅存不到4000余只野生老虎还生存在日益荒僻的地方，远远不及二十世纪初的十万余老虎，被圈著的数目更小。

仅在上个世纪，8种老虎之中，有3种已经灭绝 - 巴厘虎，里海虎和爪哇虎已经绝种了。很简单和清楚地跟大家说 - 如果我们想阻止余下的5种野生的老虎被毁灭，我们现在要采取行动来防止珍贵物种消亡。我们要停止虎制品的所有交易，改善执法行动方式，支持保护老虎的森林环境，样他们有足够猎物生存。但是最重要的就是要携手合作，确保世上最宏伟的动物，我们大自然的宝贝，不会从此消失。

我们要问自己: 如果连老虎也保护不到，我们可以保护什么? 据估计，每年大约27万种类被灭绝 - 许多也是科学未能正式记录或有种类名字。换句话说，每天有74种类灭绝，每小时3种。今天，我们离开这里之前，很有可能至少有 3个野生动物种类从此在我们地球上永远消失了。

很多动物种类受到严重威胁，例如老虎。基本上，他们是没有天敌 - 除了人类之外。但是，随著人类的科技进步，我们日益增长的人口数目和对奢侈品的要求，人类共同成为一个超级捕食动物，使我们地球和野生动物造成了不可维持的要求。现在的地步，我们正是破坏著我们依赖的自然生态系统。

为了解决我们的不断上升并且不可维持的要求问题，我们需要团结，同心合力，跨越国界，共同采取行动。政府，企业集团，公司组织。只要大家同心合力，就可以保护我们的野生动物。但是，我们也可以单独行事 - 世界各地有很多人，由其在城市居住，有机会可以直接帮助濒危野生动物种类，如保护老虎的野生环境，足以发挥重要的作用，帮助保持我们地球的自然生态。只要不再吃用他们的制品和样别人知道你对野生动物及自然生态的鼎力支持，我们可以直接影响到这些不可维持的贸易。这些个人行动是非常重要，而我们每一位也有责任现在采取行动以免太迟。

在共同制止非法和不可维持的野生动物贸易，我们要紧记市场的角色。如果濒危野生动物制品的市场要求像现在一样继续上升，非法贸易会继续兴盛。但是，如果大家拒绝买卖非法制品，他们的市场会萎缩，偷猎会下降，而且我们也为保护生态付出了一点力。所有请大家记住:“没有买卖，就没有杀害。”

最后，我再次向中国政府禁止和维持老虎贸易的领导表示赞扬和全力支持。还有衷心感谢成龙及徒弟们新七小福的支持和领导。这样的领导不单对中国很重要，对全世界也很重要。
