Helping Haiti
Returning to Beijing and being busy as usual, I got a phone call asking me to record a song called "Bring You Home". The song would dedicated to the 8 Chinese peacekeepers who passed away in Haiti. I immediately went to the recording studio and after listening to the song over and over again, I memorized all the lyrics and melody. When I sang the song, tears almost came out of my eyes because I realized at that moment that these people sacrificed their lives for peace. There are so many people around the world right now who are risking their lives for peace. I still don't understand why so many countries are still fighting each other. Remember, we can choose our friends but we cannot choose our neighbors!
Every day, every year, there are so many natural disasters. I actually think that humans are the ones creating these disasters. Humans hurt the land, the sea, the forest, the river, the sky - everything! After I sang the song, I was unhappy for the whole night because so many things were running through my mind. After singing the song, I realized what I could do for Haiti! I immediately donated 5 million RMB (USD 732,351) to the families and the United Nations.
They played my song "Bring You Home" at a memorial at the Capital International Airport as their bodies returned home.
Little Big Soldier
For the rest of the days, I have been traveling around Asia to promote my new movie, Little Big Soldier, which comes out on Lunar New Year, or Valentines Day! I think it is a good time to show the movie because the movie takes place during war, even though the storyline is about peace. My role as the "little soldier" is always trying to escape from battle. He captures the enemy general and attempts to bring him home, expecting his own freedom in return. During the journey, all he thinks about is going home to have a small land to farm. He is very simple, constantly thinking about what to plant on his land. There is a lot of love and education in the movie.
Planning Yue Fei
Not only am I busy promoting Little Big Soldier, I am busy because I just finished producing the TV series "The Myth", which has very good results! Now, I am going to do a show about Yue Fei, who is a very famous Chinese military general. Nobody dares to shoot that movie because it is very hard to tell the story in less than two hours. You need about 50 episodes to create it or else you will miss out on a lot of important things! I sat down with Stanley Tong, (famous director that I have worked with on many films) and decided to do this project with him. This show will have many roles for Lucky 7 and will create a lot of jobs for new actors.
My good friend who was the art director for Project A had a dream to make the movie, Yue Fei. He wrote to the government for 13 years for approval to make this movie, and then he passed away.
This is a famous poem that Yue Fei wrote titled "Man Jiang Hong". Here is the translation.
“My wrath bristles through my helmet, the rain stops as I stand by the rail;
I look up towards the sky and let loose a passionate roar.
At age thirty my deeds are nothing but dust, my journey has taken me over
eight thousand li
So do not sit by idly, for young men will grow old in regret.
The Humiliation of Jing Kang still lingers,
When will the pain of his subjects ever end?
Let us ride our chariots through the Helan Pass
There we shall feast and drink barbarian flesh and blood
Let us begin anew to recover our old empire, before paying tribute to the
Emperor.”
After announcing my Yue Fei project, I immediately went to a meeting with my team for my new movie, Chinese Zodiac. I am very excited for this film!
Shanghai Expo 100 Day Countdown
I flew to Shanghai to perform at the 100 Day Countdown ceremony for the Shanghai Expo. I am the ambassador of the Expo with Yao Ming and Lang Lang. I hope everybody can go! There were a lot of people and it was very fun.
The same night, I was also a guest on Asia Uncut, which is an English language talk show in Shanghai. I was so shocked that Wang Leehom showed up to surprise me! He has been staying in Shanghai recently preparing for his next movie because he wants to be a director.
In Hong Kong, I did a Canon comercial for a new camera model. This camera can now make a movie! Canon announced this camera....what kind of camera? Its a secret! I cannot say it.
Also I realize a lot of people do not clean up after themselves. I am cleaning the toilet, cleaning after everyone. Remember the next person who will you the toilet after you use it!
In between takes, I saw the motorcycle that I in Asia called Brammo Enertia. I tried it and it'; s so good for the environment! I took it for a test run. The police should drive this because Its very comfortable to drive.
All my architects from Taiwan, Beijing and Shanghai flew into Hong Kong to discuss what I should take from my Hong Kong office to put in Shanghai for my museum! For the future, everybody should go to Shanghai to see my museum! It will be opened this year. My Hong Kong office doesn’t look like an office anymore – it’s more like a junk yard!
The next morning, we drove to Guangzhou to promote Little Big Soldier again. There were so many people! I’m really glad that wherever I go, I have lots of fans to support me. At one of the press conferences, I met middle school kids who were survivors of the Sichuan earthquake. They came to thank me for supporting them and donating money to them.
I also met a young lady who is terminally ill. Of 1.3 billion people in China, only 3 have this sickness. She will pass away in 3 months and she does not even know. The whole city is helping her. The whole city knows that she will pass away but nobody talks about it. Everybody is taking care of her.
One by one, we all sang to her. All of us promoting Little Big Soldier danced, sang and gave her words of encouragement. I sang “Believe in Yourself“, which is a song that I sang for the victims of the Sichuan earthquake.

帮助海地
回到北京，工作一直像往常一样很忙。那天接到一个电话，问我可否录一首歌,是奉献给在海地地震中殉职的八位中国维和部队勇士,
叫《接你回家》。知道之后，当然是义不容辞，立刻赶去录音室录歌。我重复地听了歌曲多次，然后开始熟练歌词和歌曲旋律。练歌时都没什么，但当我们开始录音时，突然感到热泪盈眶，眼泪差不多掉下来。这一刹那我明白到，这几位勇士是因为和平而牺牲的。其实，世界各地现有很多人身处险境，也是为了和平。真的不明白，为什么这么多国家还继续龙虎相争。大家不要忘记，朋友可以拣，但是邻居不可以选择!
每年每天发生的天灾惨事非常多。其实，我觉这些灾难都是人类造成。地球上的土地，海洋，森林，河流，天空
- 所有的一切已经慢慢被人类破坏。录完这首歌之后，很多事情浮现在我脑海里，令我整个晚上感到不愉快。但是录完歌之后，我也突然想到应该怎样帮助海地!
我立刻捐五百万元善款给灾民和联合国赈灾。
《大兵小将》
其它的日子里，我在国内东奔西跑，到处为新片《大兵小将》做宣传工作。这部电影将会在大年初一上映，那天也是情人节！我觉得选择这段时期上映很适当，虽然片中的背景是在动荡的战国时代，但是片中的故事是讲和平。我饰演的角色是一名"小兵"，一直想逃避战争。他误打误撞擒得敌军首领，试图带他回家来换取自己的自由。一路上，他只想著回家农田过生活。他思想很简单，无时无刻地在想田里应该种什么。戏里面的故事很有教育意义，还有很多情感桥段。
筹拍《精忠岳元帅》
除了忙于《大兵小将》的宣传工作，我还是为其它事情很忙，之前担任监制的电视剧《神话》，最近制造完毕了，收视成绩也很理想!
现在，我想拍一套关于岳飞的电视剧，即将开始筹拍《精忠岳元帅》。岳飞是名垂青史的大宋名将，汉族民族英雄。无人敢用岳飞将军这个题材去拍电影，因为在两个小时内说清他的故事简直是难上加难，最小需要五十集，不然的话会错失很多重要的事情!
我跟唐季礼一起坐下来商谈(他是一位著名导演，我们拍电影已经合作过多次)，决定跟他制造这个计划。到时，这套电视剧会制造很多演出的机会，会有很多角色给新七小福饰演，也有演出机会给新演员。
我有一位好友，他也是《A计划》的艺术指导，他的梦想是拍摄一部叫《岳飞》的电影。他用了十三年的时间，写信给政府，申请批准拍摄这部戏。可是，他去世了。
众所周知，岳将军写了一首名诗叫“满江红
”，现在跟大家分享一下:
怒发冲冠凭栏处 潇潇雨歇
抬望眼仰天长啸 壮怀激烈
三十功名尘与土 八千里路云和月
莫等闲白了少年头 空悲切
靖康耻犹未雪 臣子恨何时灭

待从头收拾旧山河 朝天阙
在记者会宣布筹拍《精忠岳元帅》后，我马上赶去跟工作人员开会，商谈新戏《十二生肖》。真是感到很兴奋!
上海世博会倒数100天
今天到达上海，出席上海世博会倒数100天活动，担任表演嘉宾。我与姚明和郎朗是上海世博会大使，真是希望大家可以来参加!
倒数活动非常热闹，现场有很多人。
活动完结之后，晚上又去了上海电视台，受了英文节目Asia Uncut之请，又是担任嘉宾。真是吓了我一跳，节目中王力宏突然出现，给了我一个意外惊喜！他最近也停留在上海，因为他想做导演，也为新戏做足准备。
回到香港，为佳能新推出的相机拍摄广告。这一部相机拥有拍摄电影的功能!
佳能即将会宣布这个新形式相机。。。究竟是什么相机呢?
我不能说，这是秘密!
还有，我发觉很多人搅到地方污糟邋遢也不会清洁。看看，我在清洁厕所。大家用完之后，我帮他们清洁。大家要记住，用完厕所之后，还有其他人要用的!
在拍摄广告休息期间，看到我在中国代理的Brammo Enertia电单车。我试过了，这个电单车很好，很环保!
警察部门也应该用它因为驾驶时很舒服。
第二天早上，我们开车起程到广州，又是為《大兵小将》做宣传工作。活动见到很多人，真是感到很高兴，无论我去到那里，很多影迷都来支持我。出席记者会时，我跟一班中学生见面，他们都是四川地震的生还者。他们专程来多谢我，感谢我帮他们捐钱赈灾和鼓励他们。
我也遇见一位身患绝症的少女。全中国有十三亿人口，只有三个人患了这个绝症。她三个月后会去世，但是她自己不知道。城市里所有的人都在帮她。虽然大家都知道她的后果，但是没人会谈论这件事，人人都在关照她。
我们一个接一个，唱歌给她听。大家在宣传《大兵小将》，唱歌跳舞鼓励她，我也演唱《相信自己》。之前，我为四川地震的灾民唱过这首歌。
