Things have slowed down quite a bit since the Karate Kid International tour finished in Tokyo, Japan. I miss the Smith family very much. What have I been doing since then? Same old – still very busy. Everyone asked me why I didn’t take a vacation and I just tell them it's because there are too many things to do!

As soon as I left Tokyo, I went straight to Shanghai and straight to a charity auction for the Shanghai International Film Art Exhibition. I personally auctioned a lot of items that night because I love the history of film, the history of a movie. Director Stanley Tong and WETA workshop’s Richard Taylor was also there.

After a few script meetings in Shanghai, I flew to Beijing to shoot a commercial. When my staff told me that it was a ten-hour commercial shot, they were not kidding. I finished the commercial at 9 pm and went straight to the recording studio to record the theme song “Tian Xing Jian” for the Sportaccord Combat Games that would take place a few weeks later.

LA & ZY are in the recording studio for the first time with me:

The next day on a rainy Saturday afternoon, I attended the CCTV and MTV Kids Choice Awards. Many celebrities attended this event so I was able to take a lot of photos of LA & ZY with them. I was so honored that the kids picked me as the 2010 Most Favorite Hero of the Year. But you know what happened after that? They poured green goo on me, and shot me with water guns filled with green goo too! Here are a few photos from the event.
Here I am introducing LA & ZY to everyone:

My award was a Rubik's cube:

As soon as they gave me the award, the kids covered me in green slime:

Here are a few pictures of my award close up:

The next day, I flew to Seoul, Korea for the UNICEF press conference to talk about the Asia Song Festival. But before I talk about that, I want to talk about my Korean fans. They greeted me at the airport with….mini LA and mini ZY:

Not just that, they also greeted me with a lot of charity money!

Asia Song Festival
Every year, top singers come together for this event. They appointed me as the honorary chairman this year. With UNICEF, the festival will take place in the Olympic Park in Seoul on October 23 and all of the proceeds will go to the children who are victims of the Pakistan flood. Famous Korean actor Lee Min-ho joined me on stage as we brought life to two dolls by drawing on them to raise money for this cause.

When I arrived in Hong Kong, I found that the quarter map of United States was finally completed! A few months ago, I received a present from my friend Nini. It included the map of the United States and all the quarters that she was been collecting. However when she gave it to me, there were 3 quarters missing. So I quickly got on Twitter to ask my followers if they had the missing coins – and YES THEY DID. So they sent it to Hong Kong and now it is finally complete. Thank you Twitter followers and thank you Nini.

My assistant Victoria flew back to America for vacation and I flew to Beijing with Dorothy. Victoria also took LA & ZY with her because she was making several stops and wanted to take pictures. I believe she will write a diary entry soon and share her stories with you all. In Beijing, I attended the Sportaccord Combat Games Ceremony that took place in the National Stadium where I sang the theme song I recorded one week ago. I had a wonderful time and here are some photos I want to share:

September 6, 2010
I went to Fudan University Shanghai Institute of Art as a guest lecturer. It was the 5th anniversary, so there were a lot of important professors and leaders from all over China. I was the only one that was not a real professor! You can see more pictures here.
I toured their facilities and checked out their galleries. I saw a lot of beautiful artwork which I think is very important so I told the students to work hard! I’m thinking that for my next movie I will use the students as prop masters and art directors and give them an opportunity to work. I have put up an album with some of their art work. Tell me what you think.
By the way, at the hotel that I stayed at, I saw this wonderful piece of artwork too. Everything folded from towels. Can you do that?

There are a lot of events that I would love to attend that unfortunately I do not have time for, but since I am the ambassador of the Shanghai World Expo, I had to go to this one. It was the opening of the pavilion, the Gansu week at the Expo. Due to the recent mudslide in Zhouqu, China, I went with my Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation to donate 1 million RMB and sing a song of encouragement.

Unlike the Yushu earthquake disaster, this time I couldn’t fly into the city and I couldn’t drive either, so there was no way to get there. Instead I’m donating money first to see if I can help later on. I will try my best to go there when I can.
Here is some of the beautiful artwork that I received. I really appreciate good artwork that takes a lot of time, it shows that you really focused on it:

Victoria finally brought my babies LA & ZY back to me after her vacation and of course I took them to the Expo with me. I have missed them so much!
Here is LA & ZY with the volunteers of the Shanghai World Expo:

In front of the China pavilion with LA & ZY:

My dream is to have LA & ZY take pictures at EVERY pavilion at the Expo, but I know it will be very difficult to do. It was already difficult that day because it was raining and I had to hide just to take pictures. Remember what happened last time when Victoria broke a camera? I don’t want that happening again.
My team and I were leaving the Expo site but I absolutely had to stop here to take a photo. Two BIG silver panda bears, and my two little babies:

Since I had some free time, I went to the Jackie Chan Shanghai Film Gallery (formerly known as the Jackie Chan Museum). I went to check on the progress and I hope that it will open soon. Actually, my main concern is not when it will open, but to make sure that I check every detail so it will have a successful opening.

Somebody made this sofa for me. Do you see JJ and Jones? This will be in the film gallery:

Before I got into the car, I had to wash my sneakers:

Look how clean it is:

I went to Beijing for several meetings and also for a hand molding. I can’t tell you what it’s for, but I can show you some pictures:
